Prosper Gold has released diamond drill results from seven holes completed on the Middleton target at the Matachewan project along the Cadillac Larder lake break.
Drill highlights include:
The drilling was focused on areas where historic work identified mineralization; current results confirm the presence of mineralization over an area of 300 metres by 200 metres and down to a depth of 250 metres. Within this area, Prosper has defined a higher grade zone of 100 metres by 250 metres and followed down to a depth of 250 metres.
Mineralization remains open on strike and at depth. Additional drilling is planned.
The current work was completed on the 3,860 hectare project which is made up of claims purchased and staked by Prosper as well as on claims under option from O3 Mining where Prosper may earn up to a 90% interest.
Matachewan covers 15 km of the Cadillac Larder lake break and is located 3 km east of Alamos Gold’s Young Davidson mine.
