Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
Starting in the second quarter of 2012, the Peruvian Government will put out to tender the Arena Seca project in Tambogrande (Piura); the Huayday Ambara prospect (La Libertad); the remaining concessions of the Michiquillay project, and a copper refinery project in Sechura (Piura), MinerAndina.e reports.
