TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – July 18, 2012) – Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX:ORV) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Kinbauri España S.L.U. (“Kinbauri”), results of June operations for its El Valle-Boinás/Carlés (“EVBC”) gold-copper mine in northern Spain.
June production was 4,976 ounces of gold, 549,000 pounds of copper, and 14,285 ounces of silver (see table below). Estimated direct cash operating cost, including royalties, was approximately $600/ounce of gold, net of by-product revenues for both the month of June and the third quarter.
