One chart shows just how bad the US job market is

The economics blogĀ Calculated Risk looked at all the other recessions since World War II and the follow on effect to the jobs market.

There is simply nothing to compare to the 2008 financial collapse. A credit crisis is hard to dig out of.

Friday’s dismal job numbers caused carnage to the markets with the S&P 500 off 2.46% to 1,278.04 and copper dropping to its lowest level in 2012.
