As reported in The StarPhoenix, the new International Minerals Innovation Institute (IMII) was announced on Monday in Saskatoon. The funding for the Institute will be provided by the industry and the government of Saskatchewan.
[The Institute] is meant to be a mechanism that enables industry to provide direction, funding and make decisions around education and training programs and research and development projects conducted in support of the mining and minerals sector.
