Tianqi Lithium issues profit warning and halts expansion
The Chinese miner warned that it expects to post a net loss of as much as 8.2 billion yuan ($1.1 billion) for 2024.
Physorg.com reports that scientists have found that carbon nanotubes can generate power at a magnitude three to four times greater than a lithium ion battery.
The team was working on measuring the acceleration of a chemical reaction along a nanotube when they discovered that the reaction generated power.
Now the two researchers are using their combined expertise in chemistry and nanomaterials to explore this phenomenon.
