Amaroq pours first gold at Nalunaq mine in Greenland
The pour took place on Wednesday, following approval of Phase 1 commissioning of the Nalunaq processing plant by the Greenlandic government.
The former wife of British mining magnate, David Mann, says she is facing homelessness because her husband has failed to honour a $3.2 million divorce payout.
Mann, who specializes in brokering mining deals, separated from his wife Shelley in 1997 and the couple divorced two years later, London Evening Standard reports. And while she has received some compensations since then, she claims Mann still owes her millions.
The broker, in turn, alleges he can’t pay up, because he is unwell and has run out of money.
Shelley and the couple’s two daughters are now facing imminent eviction proceedings, her lawyers say.

it’s a bummer when you get down to your last million

Don’t live so high. It is not a lifelong right for anybody. Child support is too high and can take up to 80% of the after tax income. This makes it attractive to dodge and nobody wins. Humans are inherently stupid when emotional.
