Australia to propose tax incentives for critical minerals
The proposed law will set up a tax incentive worth 10% of relevant processing and refining costs for 31 critical minerals.
This year’s Aachen International Mining Symposia (AIMS), to be held on May 26-27 in Germany, will provide a forum for presentation, discussion and evaluation of state-of-the-art and emerging technologies in the field of mineral resources and mine development. About 50 presentations by experts from Europe, Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Papua New Guinea and the USA will be shown, covering mineral resources and mine development. There will also be a special session by the European Technology Platform on Sustainable Mineral Resources (ETP SMR) on its contribution to the Raw Materials Initiative (RMI). (more…)
