Which countries produce the world’s silver?
In 2023, silver mines produced 830.5 million ounces of silver. That total is projected to decline by about 1 percent to 823.5 million ounces in 2024.
Minera Andes Inc. announces the San Jose mine production results for the fourth quarter of 2010 and the year ended December 31, 2010. During the fourth quarter, the San Jose mine produced 1,871,440 ounces of silver and 26,141 ounces of gold, of which 49% is attributable to Minera Andes. For the full year of 2010 silver production was 5,323,842 ounces and gold production was 84,303 ounces.
