Expomin is considered one of the world’s premier mining exhibitions, particularly for suppliers in the Latin America region.
Commenting on MICROMINE’s presence at Expomin, BNA-MICROMINE Latin America Director, Beck Nader says “We really consider Expomin to be the pinnacle of industry events for the Latin America region. There has been so much growth within MICROMINE in recent months, we are excited to be able to share this with our clients and industry associates”.
Mr Nader continues “In Brazil and Chile in particular, we are experiencing significant demand for MICROMINE’s solutions. This can be largely attributed to the strength of each of the solutions, as well as the fact they are applicable to every stage of the mining process. To me, this is what differentiates MICROMINE from its competitors”.
MICROMINE’s premier data management solution, Geobank, will be demonstrated at the show. Geobank is the ideal solution for mining and exploration groups of all sizes. The software captures, validates, stores and manages data from a variety of sources and is used by companies operating as a single user on site, to large blue chip companies operating on multiple sites. Geobank is a cost effective solution that is easy to use and can be tailored to an organisations requirements.

It is highly flexible solution and can be tailored to accommodate a broad range of IT and data management requirements.
MICROMINE will also demonstrate the latest version of its leading geological exploration and 3D mine modelling and planning software, Micromine 2011. Released in August 2011, this latest version of MICROMINE’s flagship solution pushes the limits of advanced 3D modelling and mine planning tools and continues to build on the characteristics that have become Micromine’s trademark. Focussing on intuitive useability with enhanced workflow methodologies and logical processes, Micromine 2011 continues to deliver productivity gains with faster processing speeds, flexible import and export functions and compatibility with third-party applications.
