Mesa Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: MSA) – Lithium Bearing Mineral Brine Claims Acquired in Utah

Investment Highlights

  • Mesa’s primary focus is now the Green Energy lithium project in Utah. Lithium is known to occur on and around the property at values as high as 1,700 ppm Li, 7.9% potash, 18.7% magnesium chloride, 13% salt, 6,100 ppm bromine and 1,260 ppm boron.
  • The Green Energy property was acquired in 2009 by taking mining claims and partially overlies the company’s White Cloud potash project which consists of potash exploration applications.
  • In the first half of 2008, the company acquired prospective potash exploration applications totaling over 30,000 hectares of land coverage.
  • Potash is known to exist on the application as does the potential for solution mining. The Cane Creek solution mine operated by Intrepid Potash Inc. (NYSE: IPI), produces 80,000 tons of potash annually and is located just south of the White Cloud property.
  • The company currently has only $0.10 million in cash.
