Hedge funds slash bullish wagers on gold over Trump election win
Hedge funds and other large speculators boosted net-long positions by 11% to 197,362 as of Nov. 12, the lowest in 14 weeks.
Maritime Resources Corp. has been infill drilling at its Hammerdown gold deposit near the town of King’s Point. The assays from 18 of 19 diamond drill holes in the program have been received.

The company says it has successfully defined the continuity of several gold veins in the Hammerdown hanging wall and footwall as well as below the mined out areas. The mine produced 143,000 oz. of gold from 2000 to 2004 when it was operated by Richmont Mines.
The Hammerdown deposit contains 925,670 measured and indicated tonnes at 10.60 g/t gold for 315,535 contained oz. plus 1.3 million inferred tonnes at 7.53 g/t gold for 376,984 contained oz.
