UK’s new coal mine sent ‘adverse international signal’, campaigners say
Environmental campaigners are challenging the approval of a coking coal mine in northwest England.
Contract miner Macmahon Holdings on Friday reported that it had been awarded $90-million worth of mining contracts, including work on diversified miner BHP Billiton’s Wheelarra mine.
