Limited upside for nickel prices

Nornickel has signed an agreement with the truck maker to manufacture and supply mining equipment.

Operations within the Thompson nickel belt have been producing since 1956.

Copper demand for new energy applications is posed to jump 62% to 42 million tonnes by 2050, according to Teck’s head of market research.

Purpose is to help the government accelerate development of its mineral processing industry.
