Job Description
[Albemarle ] is hiring for a [ Import/Export Specialist ] . This position is [hybrid and located in [Taipei], in-office and located in [Taiwan]] .
What You Will Do
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations in Taiwan, including daily execution, warehouse coordination, cost control, and issue resolution
- Handle import/export shipments: coordinate with freight forwarders for booking, documentation, permit preparation, and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with GTC to ensure compliance (HS code, import/export policy) and support customs audits
- Work with plant team on shipment planning and dispatch arrangements
- Manage logistics vendors, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvement
- Support procurement on logistics sourcing, rate negotiation, and cost optimization
- Maintain inventory accuracy and data transparency.
- Oversee monthly freight settlement and cost analysis
- Ensure proper documentation and act as the key logistics contact point in Taiwan
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- ≥5 years of logistics experience; DG handling is a must (chemical logistics preferred)
- Strong knowledge of international trade and logistics operations
- Experience in vendor management and cost control
Preferred
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PPT, SAP and other reporting tools
- Strong communication skills and fluent English
