In this role, the Regional Organizational Change Management Lead will be accountable to the Global Change Management Lead and will primarily be responsible for developing and executing change management deliverables for regional transformational initiatives to meet specific objectives and drive change commitment from awareness to buy-in. The primary focus of this role will be to support regional change management and training delivery of global digital and business transformations for Redpath’s global organization. This role will contribute to building the organization’s change competency through delivery of change management.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing change management plans including associated stakeholder engagement, change impacts analysis, communication and training to drive adoption of changes introduced
- Develop robust stakeholder mapping and associated personas to describe direct and indirect impact on various internal/external audiences, identifying and managing people risks and issues
- Partner with Business Applications, Functional SMEs, Global Process Owners and Regional Operations Leads to collect, curate and validate change impacts assessments to execute tailored change interventions and tactics focused on driving employee adoption
- Develop and execute a robust communications plan including updated messaging, communication channels and adjusted frequency of required content to ensure stakeholder audiences are well prepared
- Drive stakeholder readiness and adoption measurement by designing and tracking relevant KPIs
- Build reward and recognition tactics tied to overall change plans aimed at motivating and enabling employees
- Support operations and functional leaders in driving their teams through stages of change transitions, including tracking employee change receptivity, and designing triggers to accelerate employee adoption
- Partner with System Integrator teams, Business Applications, IT, Finance, Project Leaders and/or Functional Leaders to integrate all change management deliverables, milestones and activities into project critical paths
- Track and report on business/employee/end user readiness along with progress and effectiveness of change management deliverables tied to assigned initiatives
- Provides recommendations on optimizing change management plans and executing change management interventions/tactics based on feedback and input from project and regional business stakeholders
Requirements
Education
- University degree in related disciplines e.g. Psychology, Business, Human Resources or Engineering
- PROSCI or CCMP certification in Change Management desired
Experience
- 7+ years’ experience as an Organizational Change Management professional or a combination of Organizational Development, Communications or similar, combined with a minimum of 3 years working in the field of Change Management
- Involved in Digital Transformation projects including ERP (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- Mining or Construction background an asset, with prior knowledge of operations/production, finance and supply chain functions
- Demonstrated experience in deploying change management plans regionally for Global implementation rollouts, with a focus on strong problem solving and facilitation/coordination
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Able to maintain tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
- Able to build and maintain relationships to influence, coach and guide others
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations
- Valid passport for possible international travel
