Job Description
Albemarle is hiring an Advisor, Joint Ventures. This position will provide support to the Joint Ventures team in relation to Australian Joint Venture operations.
The role includes supporting the team’s focus on outcomes internally and externally and supports the Joint Ventures Director and Principal Advisors in delivering outcomes across Albemarle’s portfolio of Joint Venture interests.
This role will be required to operate with skill and agility across technical, commercial, financial, capital project and strategic disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience since graduating, coming from a recognised graduate program and subsequent work experience.
This position is located in Perth.
What You Will Do
- Uphold Albemarle’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Community standards across all your day-to-day responsibilities, activities, and interactions.

- Prepare regular reporting and analysis under the direction of Principal Advisors, including ad hoc support of strategic projects and executive briefing materials
- Assist the team in preparation of high‑impact executive materials, including briefing packs, dashboards, and performance summaries that clearly articulate insights, risks, and recommendations for senior leaders.
- Conduct analytical work to identify and quantify value opportunities across Joint Venture operations, supporting the team's strategy and value realization priorities.
- Support the team to deliver operational performance insights, including OpEx and sustaining CapEx analysis, budget tracking, cost drivers, and identification of improvement and control opportunities as instructed.
- Support Hardrock Operations strategies, management plans, and continuous improvement initiatives spanning operations, capital, and cost performance.
- Maintain trusted relationships with Joint Venture partners, operators, and internal stakeholders to enable influence, alignment, and delivery of shared objectives.
What You Bring
- High regard for workplace safety and sustainability practices.
- 2-4 years’ experience, with exposure to mining or natural resource operations, including within a consulting environment
- Experience in reporting financial and operational data
- Experience in supporting or developing presentations, reporting, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders advantageous
- Strong analytical skills in working with and interpreting financial and operational data
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT)
- Strong problem-solving skills with effective workflow management
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Power BI proficiency preferred
- Bachelor of Commerce / Engineering / Law / Business or other relevant degree
- Experience in and around mining or natural resource operations advantageous
- Consulting background advantageous
