Job description:
Responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization of operational, stakeholder, and perception data to support informed decision-making within Public’s relations Department. The role focuses on transforming complex datasets into clear insights that strengthen stakeholder engagement strategies, public perception analysis, sustainability reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also contributes to the development and standardization of data processes and reporting frameworks across multidisciplinary teams
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, and KPI monitoring within industrial, operational, and stakeholder-focused environments. Experience supporting public perception analysis, sustainability metrics, and stakeholder engagement reporting.
- Proven background in process improvement, SOP development, and quality assurance.
- Exposure to multidisciplinary environments including mining operations, public sector projects, and technology services.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Minitab).
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and reporting tools is essential.
- Experience in data quality validation, KPI definition, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of process modeling and automation tools (Power Automate, Bizagi, Visio).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and community-facing roles. Experience presenting data insights in institutional, operational, and public-facing contexts.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report creation.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, contributing to shared goals and successful project execution.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources related to comms, communities, stakeholder engagement, sustainability performance, operational metrics, and public perception.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through regular quality checks and validation processes.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools to support management decision-making.
- Develop visual data representations tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance, and usability.
- Conduct trend and performance analysis to identify insights that support communication strategies, stakeholder trust assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for Stakeholder Project Management and related teams.
- Support the preparation of periodic public opinion and perception analysis reports, including survey design, data interpretation, and insight generation.
- Assist in the management, organization, and updating of weekly and monthly reporting datasets.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data usage, reporting processes, and analytics platforms.
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to sustainability reporting, brand performance metrics, and stakeholder engagement effectiveness.
- Ensure that all relevant data is stored in compliance with organizational data management policies.
