CHERNE Contracting Corporation has a position in Lenexa, KS.
Field Engineer - **DUTIES** -Develop and implement comprehensive work
plans for field operations, including early logistical planning and
daily work planning. Coordinate departmental activities for the field in
planning and execution of the work. Perform project quantity take-offs
and manage project controls. Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and
monthly reports on departmental controls. Contribute to departmental
scheduling and ensure alignment with overall project schedule deadlines,
budgets, and impacts. Understanding of project required
specifications/procedures and codes as to which the project will be
completed. Review and verify construction drawings for adherence to
specifications and contractual requirements. Subcontractor
administration, contract management, and contract administration.
Managing the subcontractors onboarding and integration into the company.
Request for Information (RFI) being submitted to the
client/subcontractor or any required party.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction
Management, or related field and any knowledge, experience, coursework,
or internship stated herein to involve: (1) navigate Microsoft Suite,
including drafting efficient emails, making Power Point presentations,
manipulating data in Excel and utilizing Word and OneNote; (2)
organizational and time management skills: research to find answers to
engineering and construction problems at hand, while also managing many
tasks on a daily basis; (3) work independently to resolve issues and
ensure timely, efficient completion of project tasks; and (4) computer
programs such as NavisWorks, Revit, UPV, and Bluebeam.
