Job description:
Key Responsibilities
ERP Support and Service Delivery
Provide first line and second-line functional support for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and ancillary technologies across multiple operational sites.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP-related incidents and service requests in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and service delivery frameworks.
Maintain accurate and timely updates within the Service Desk system.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business users regarding ERP functionality, best practices, and system utilization.
Business Requirements Analysis and Solution Support
Engage with business users to understand operational challenges, requirements, and system improvement opportunities.
Analyze user requirements and design practical, business-aligned ERP solutions.
Support user reported incidents and service requests, system configuration changes, enhancements, and solution deployments in collaboration with solution design and development teams.
Participate in solution testing, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
ERP Security and Compliance
Assist in ERP security design, user access provisioning, and periodic security reviews.
Ensure ERP security structures comply with internal governance policies and audit requirements.
Support segregation of duties (SoD) monitoring and remediation initiatives.
Training and Knowledge Management
Deliver user training sessions and support onboarding initiatives for ERP and integrated technologies.
Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and system documentation.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning among user communities and support teams.
Ancillary Systems and Integration Support
Provide support for ERP-integrated systems, including workflow platforms, SAP Ariba, and other associated enterprise technologies.
Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting integration points between JD Edwards and ancillary applications.
Support testing and implementation of integration changes and enhancements.
Continuous Improvement and Professional Development
Stay current with JD Edwards product developments, system enhancements, and industry best practices.
Maintain knowledge of operational business environments across supported mining operations.
Participate in ERP improvement initiatives and technology upgrade projects.
Documentation and Governance
Maintain and update system documentation, process documentation, and knowledge base articles.
Ensure compliance with ERP and ICT governance standards, project methodologies, and change management procedures.
Contribute to audit preparation and compliance reporting when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Formal qualifications in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
Experience
5–10 years of experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP systems.
Experience supporting integrated enterprise technologies such as workflow platforms and SAP Ariba is advantageous.
Experience working within structured service delivery or IT support frameworks.
Experience supporting multi-site or multinational operations, preferably within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments.
Technical Skills
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules.
Understanding of ERP integrations and associated enterprise technologies.
Experience with ERP security administration and access controls.
Familiarity with Service Desk tools and incident management systems.
Knowledge of system testing methodologies and documentation standards.
