What you'll do
- Build and maintain an end-to-end data and analytics platform supporting reporting and insights.
- Develop and optimise data pipelines that move data from staging environments into warehouse and reporting layers.
- Write production-quality SQL and Python code, using tools such as pandas and SQLAlchemy.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud data configuration, synchronization, and latency.
- Manage complex datasets, including structured and semi-structured formats such as JSONB.
- Design and maintain automated BI dashboards that deliver actionable business insights.
What you bring
- Strong experience with SQL and Python for building data pipelines, transformations, and analytics solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including data infrastructure, pipeline orchestration, and cloud configuration.
- Proficiency with dbt or similar tools and familiarity with data migration services such as AWS DMS.
- Experience using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools to manage cloud environments.
- Knowledge of advanced SQL concepts including window functions, CTEs, and query optimisation, as well as data modelling practices such as deduplication and normalization.
- Experience working with SQLAlchemy, Python data libraries, version control workflows, and the ability to communicate technical decisions within cross-functional teams.
