This 4-month internship Summer 2025 term, starting in May is your opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and take the next step in your Finance career.
Purpose/objective of the internship: Assist internal audit, Internal controls and Risk Management functions
As An Audit And Risk Intern, You Will
- Assist in internal audit (including Operating and Technical audits) documentation and upload to Sharepoint including Operational and Technical audits
- Assist the team in follow up of past due items
- Assist in updating risk registers to SharePoint database (GRC tool if we are able to implement during the summer)
- Prepare sox controls testing templates for controls testing
- Take notes for actions items from team update meetings
- Participate in other assigned tasks as necessary
Job Qualifications
Qualifications, You Need
- 2nd or 3rd year university student, enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting;
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments;
- Highly motivated, with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to learn quickly; and
- Ability to work in a team environment.
