Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with various stakeholders. You will lead the standardization of data management processes by ensuring consistency and best practices. You will be responsible for analyzing the data, producing trends and lead troubleshooting initiatives. You will be responsible for providing the data required for all internal and external reporting of the initiatives that you undertake. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Lead and manage various data management processes for Nunavut sites and ensure support to users, provide technical inputs/outputs and troubleshooting;
- Ensure continuous business support related to data integrity;
- Liaise with software provider to ensure databases are running and updated consistently;
- Provide and develop required trending and data interpretation templates ;
- Assist and participate in various business processes, by providing applicable data;
- Ensure data management inputs are available for internal and external reports;
- Ensure trending reports are available and meet different operational needs.
What You Need To Succeed
- College degree in a relevant field;
- 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role;
- Experience with multi-tasking and working with multi-disciplinary project teams;
- Experience in developing Power BI reports and good knowledge of DAX
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills;
- Experience working in a multicultural environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
- General familiarity with data manipulation, such as reporting and querying databases
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Good organization skills;
- Familiarity with SQL queries an asset;
- Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written). Selected candidates must attain a passing mark on the SPEEXX English language assessment.
Note that the official working language at our Nunavut operations is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
