Reporting to the Superintendent, Human Resources (HR), the Senior Advisor, Labour Relations and Human Resources (at EVR known as Senior Advisor, Human Resources) is responsible for leading and assisting with a broad range of HR services. You will be a key figure supporting internal operations and have the opportunity to build relationships with employees across diverse departments and at all levels of the business.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Provide coaching and resources to employees and managers with respect to career development, compensation, recruiting, performance management and employee relations
- Provide guidance on various labour relations matters and processes in alignment with the collective agreement and legislative requirements, demonstrating sound judgement and an understanding of organizational impact
- Foster positive and productive relationships between employees, management and union representatives
- Investigate employee relations issues including employee matters and performance issues while maintaining confidentiality, consistency, and sensitivity
- Support and participate in the disability management process
- Provide support for the People Central Performance and Development programs and the Human Resources Information System and generate regular and ad hoc reports on specific HR metrics
- Provide coaching to HR Advisors within the HR team
- Facilitate supervisor development workshops on HR topics
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or equivalent
- Minimum eight years of Human Resources experience in a unionized work environment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
