The Senior Strategic Accounts Supply Planning and Execution Manager is responsible for leading the execution of product sales strategies for high-priority agricultural accounts across North America. This role manages the entire supply planning and execution process, including supply forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory distribution, and vendor relations, ensuring seamless execution that drives revenue growth, operational efficiency, and margin improvement.
What you will do:
- Pricing Strategy & Bid Execution:
- Develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin and rebate targets.
- Lead bid preparation in Segmentation Bid Assistance Tooland proposal execution, balancing product assortment, price, and terms with company goals and customer needs.
- Work with Strategic Acct. sales teams to analyze bid success, refine bidding strategies, and adjust pricing in response to market conditions, customer needs, and supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to structure risk mitigation through Nutrien Financial input offerings, customer terms, return policies, restocking programs Out of Segmentation (OOS) dollars, and other process enhancements.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring strategic alignment and successful negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, procurement) to ensure smooth execution of account strategies.
- Ensure alignment between customer needs and supply chain processes, contributing to mutual long-term success.
- Supply Forecasting to Procurement Coordination:
- Oversee the supply forecasting process, ensuring alignment with Integrated Business Planning (IBP)and accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of agricultural inputs (chemicals and fertilizers), minimize excess inventory (Long+DWIL), and address supply chain disruptions.
- Distribution & Logistics Alignment:
- Direct logistics strategies to drive timely, efficient distribution of products to strategic accounts, minimizing delays, stockouts, and cost overruns.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce cost-to-serve for strategic accounts by optimizing procurement, distribution, and logistics processes.
- Work closely with sales teams to help design long-term, mutually beneficial B2C contractual relationships with customers that align supply chain efficiencies, guaranteeing sustained collaboration and purchase stability.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain or sales operations in the agricultural inputs industry (chemicals, fertilizers, etc.).
- Strong expertise in supply chain management, pricing strategy, inventory control, and supplier negotiation.
- Proven leadership in managing complex supply chain and account execution strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and supply chain management tools.
