Job Purpose
The job purpose of a Senior Business Analyst is to provide essential data required to run and monitor our operational activities effectively. To improve analytics, enabling us to base our decisions on accurate facts and thereby making our transformation efforts within the function both reasonable and achievable. Procurement is a data-driven organization where reporting analytics plays a major role in its success. Provide essential data to enhance reporting, KPIs and dashboards to improve efficiency and performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting, Data Accuracy and Quality.
- Design and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used for reporting and analytics through rigorous validation and auditing processes.
- Develop and enforce data governance practices.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Advanced Analytics Development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Operational Monitoring, Visualization and Communication.
- Develop tools and processes to monitor procurement operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
- Create compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Simplify complex data for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Advanced Analytics Development.
- Utilize advanced analytical methods to predict future trends, assess performance, and measure the impact of initiatives.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable recommendations.
- Procurement Expertise and Continuous Improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on procurement data and analytics, contributing to the success of a data-driven procurement organization.
- Monitor and report on procurement of KPIs, providing insights that drive operational excellence.
