We are looking for a Controller Maintenance (Mobile Equipment) to supervise, co-ordinate and execute planned and/or unscheduled maintenance work within designated areas
.
Reporting to the
Engineer Plant, you will
- Liaise with supervisors to identify maintenance and service needs and coordinate general maintenance work toward ensuring production targets are met.
- Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment, at the discretion of the Superintendent.
- Source potential new suppliers to ensure that the most efficient products are used.
- Supervise and control the activities, standards of performance and behaviour of staff to ensure that the correct procedures are followed.
- Maintain and improve safety, health and environmental standards and practices.
- Administer maintenance-related data, documentation and records on SAP (timekeeping, purchase requisitions, stores orders etc).
- Prepare, control and maintain section budget by forecasting operating costs.

About You
- Matric (with Core Maths & Physical Science) / N3 /N5 Engineering Qualification (Advantageous) - Please attach
- Trade Test (Diesel Mechanic/ Diesel Auto Electrician) - Please attach
- Valid South African Driver’s License - Please attach
- Supervisor Role experience for at least 3 Years
- Supervisory- and/or Safety training (advantageous)
- 5 year’s heavy / mining industry / Maintenance Planning Systems experience
- Exceptional knowledge of heavy machinery equipment.
- Mechanically / Electrically – minded
