In this role, you also will:
Act as BU People Change Practitioner, enhancing change management capability across the BU and sites by ensuring change management strategy and tools are embedded into HR Projects.
Regional project lead for global HR projects, ensuring local context is considered in program design and execution. Lead functional planning for the BU People team. Oversee BU HRLT Teams sites and content.
Lead BU People planning and budget process, actuals reporting and full potential tracking, ensuring that resources are applied efficiently and effectively to achieve the organization's goals.
Assist the BU People Head with presentation deliverables, talking points, and special projects as needed.
Prerequisites for your success in this role:
Extensive knowledge in project management and strategic planning is crucial, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery and strategic alignment., including the ability to lead and handle complex HR projects from inception to completion. Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
A deep understanding of change management principles is essential to identify and streamline organizational changes effectively. Expertise in change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR) and their practical application.
Proficiency in data analysis is required to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making, including the use of HR analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP SuccessFactors) to generate insights and support decision-making.
Other prerequisites for this role:
Additionally, essential soft skills include effective communication, and stakeholder engagement to represent the HR function as a key contact point and drive team alignment, including the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions
· In this hybrid role, based in our Miami office, you will collaborate and interact with teams across global, regional, and site organizations, as well as other service and operational areas of Newmont, spanning multiple time zones.
· This position requires regular travel to both domestic and international sites.
