Responsibilities
Our Engineer - Electrical will be responsible for the preparation and review of designs, studies, reports and drawings. Engineers are also expected to lead the electrical design and review package and engage with clients and key stakeholders.
We are searching for a candidate who is looking to bring their experience into a fast-paced consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of a variety of projects from early conceptual and feasibility design, through to contract and construction management of renewable projects.
- Preparing and reviewing electrical designs, studies, reports and drawings
- Own the electrical package and interface directly with Client’s, network companies and other third parties
- Assess costs and risks of electrical designs and installations
- Attending site meetings, surveys and quality inspection of site works
- Preparation of reports.
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech Electrical preferably with Renewables experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Solar PV, Wind or in the renewable industry.
- Working level experience in Electrical PV / BESS Detailed Design.
- Able to perform Power System Studies [Load Flow (ETAP), Ampacity (CYMCAP, Naher-McGrath method, NEC), Short Circuit (ETAP), Lightning Risk Assessments (NFPA 780), Induced Voltage (CYMCAP), Grounding (WinIGS, IEEE-2778 and IEEE-80)]
- Working experience in Substation Design (Collector Sub and HV Switchyards) or Transmission Line Design (NESC) will be beneficial.
