Job Description
Wood is currently sourcing for a
Process Supervisor (Local National) to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq
Responsibilities
- To supervise the process commissioning scope of work in accordance with the contract specifications and schedule
- Provide support to the Lead Commissioning Engineer
- Review commissioning technical documentation
- Function test Process plant and equipment onshore / offshore
- To perform the work in accordance with the specified safety standards / project requirements / work packs
- To support the commissioning team to function-test the Process system in accordance with project technical procedures
- Supervise the function test and repair of the process system in accordance with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
- "Red line" project drawings and procedures with any changes made during testing
- Review construction documentation prior to executing commissioning activities
- Complete the project Completion System in accordance with project completion procedures
- Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner using Company procedures (Task Risk Assessment, TRIC etc)
- Ensure all activities are implemented in a safe manner and in accordance with the project PTW system
- Liaise with support vendors as required
- Deputies for Senior Topsides Technician if required
Qualifications
- ONC (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline OR recognised relevant trade background (C&G / BTEC etc) combined with proven and demonstrable experience as a Process Commissioning Technician in O&G or related industry
- HNC (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline or related subject an advantage
- BOSIET / OGUK Medical
- IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
- Company mandatory training (Induction, Risk Assessment etc)
- PTW Training
- Plant Process Training
