ITT launches new XHD heavy duty mining pump

ITT Corporation has announced the launch of the new Goulds XHD extra heavy duty lined slurry pump, a next-generation product that according to the company can handle the heaviest slurry under the toughest conditions. The new XHD pump will enable mines and related operations to move slurry with improved reliability and at lower operating cost, says ITT. The new pump is designed to be maintained even while running, and to require less downtime for service procedures-with parts that are more accessible and adjustable than in other slurry pumps. ITT Goulds Pumps will begin taking orders for the XHD pump in December, and shipping is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2012. Initial shipments will come from the US, however, ITT plans to ship pumps and parts from many of its international sites including Australia, Brazil, China and South Africa. (more…)
