It is possible to create a crime free environment

The criminal has evolved to the point whereby they are no longer “effectively” deterred by conventional security such as alarms, CCTV, grills or by old technologies such as data or micro dots or even security personnel according to Martin Gill a Professor in criminology? So how can an organisation protect its physical assets and employees?

According to Mark Churms, managing director of MineSite Security Innovations (MSI) “All forms of security are important but effective security is a balance of what the criminal can see… and what they cannot”.

He explains further that organisations cannot stand still if they want to protect what is important and like the criminal must continually evolve and stay several steps ahead of the criminal by employing new and proven technologies.

MineSite Security Innovations is one such company which provides a one stop shop for the mining community supplying state of the art forensics as well as electronic security, communications, RFID, GPS and consultation services.

MSI forensic security is so strong that the company actually evidences an ability to “Remove the criminals will to steal BEFORE any crime has been committed”

Mr Churms continues “This is achieved due to our ability to mark assets with real forensics which cannot be seen with the naked eye, are more unique and robust than your own DNA and  which  irrefutably proves ownership 100% of the time”

“When combined with the MSI strategy it is groomed to place the fear of capture and conviction in the criminal’s mindset whilst creating efficiency for security personnel who are able to detect stolen assets within a fraction of a second.

“The risks of detection is simply too strong for the dishonest individual who will either cease their activities or go elsewhere”

“Our results speak for themselves and perhaps this is why some of the biggest mining organisations which employ MSI’s services now regard us as “Best practice” and “Value for money”
