Metals markets eye China reopening for stimulus rally cues
There are still plenty of concerns that Beijing will need to act even more forcefully and restore China to its status as the growth engine for major commodities.
The New York Times reports that Nevada Geothermal (CVE:NGP) is facing money problems. Like the troubled solar energy company Solyndra that declared bankruptcy and became part of the political narrative of wasteful government spending on behalf of the Obama administration, Nevada Geothermal also received federal loan guarantees and the company is facing financial difficulties:
After a series of technical missteps that are draining Nevada Geothermal’s cash reserves, its own auditor concluded in a filing released last week that there was “significant doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”
