Intergraph(R) CAESAR II(R) Training Courses on Static and Dynamic Piping Analysis Scheduled for April 9-18 in Houston, Texas

HOUSTON, TX–(Marketwire – Feb 27, 2012) – Intergraph has scheduled CAESAR II Productivity Training, with a course on static analysis on April 9-13 and a course on dynamic analysis on April 16-18, 2012 in Houston, Texas USA, hosted at the Intergraph training facility. The training provides managers, engineers, and designers involved in piping design and pipe stress analysis with knowledge about static and dynamic considerations based on case studies developed from helping thousands of users solve real-world problems. Course contents for static analysis cover piping code requirements for piping models; interpretation of results for piping layout designs; analysis of buried pipe and pipelines; evaluation of piping fatigue; analysis of wind and seismic loads with static equivalents and of wave and current loads on offshore risers; and other considerations. The dynamics course covers building and interpreting dynamic analysis models; solving field vibration problems using harmonic analysis; performing seismic analysis using the response spectrum method; evaluating relief valve discharge and transient loads; and more.
