OK jewelry manufactures, pay attention. Need a government regulation for jewelry makers to define their “gold” jewelry like the drug and food administration requires the contents of the container bearing a base “food” and all its constituents greater than 0.1 %. Adding other precious metals like silver and base metals like copper, make gold appearing jewelry more available to the masses and gives 100% gold even a higher status to the real quality conscious person. Don’t think this situation will affect the jewelry demand for gold much, but the people in the jewelry trade would know infinitely better.
