Which countries produce the world’s silver?
In 2023, silver mines produced 830.5 million ounces of silver. That total is projected to decline by about 1 percent to 823.5 million ounces in 2024.
Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Wednesday said it is set to become one of the top producers of silver in the world, with an estimated output of 500 tonnes by March 2011, more than double its production at present. The Economic Times reports:
