Gold production in Q2 down

Gold production was down 1.8 percent in the second quarter of 2011 compared to the same period last year, the Chamber of Mines said on Tuesday.
When comparing the first and second quarters of 2011, gold production increased 6.4 percent to 47,563.6kg, the chamber said in a statement.
