Resolute Mining says it will pay Mali $160 million in tax dispute
The company’s shares in Sydney were suspended on Thursday, after tumbling 40% since news of the detention of CEO Terry Holohan.
Retired Italian professional road cyclist Mario Cipollini has gone (really) upscale with the launch of a deluxe version of one of our most prominent models: the RB1000.
The $54,000 Luxury Edition of Cipollini’s aero carbon road bike features 40 grams of 18-carat gold, 122 grams of platinum (in the head tube and downtube logos), and 17 carats of black and white diamonds.
Unveiled at the Monte Carlo Like Bike Expo earlier this month, the lavish bicycle is considered a good mix of high quality jewellery and innovative technology. Watch the making of it below:

I don’t understand the chemistry between gold / diamonds and bikes. What has gold / platinum / diamonds got to do with bikes? It only gives a cushy feeling.
Tomorrow some one comes up with Diamond studded Floor mops and flakes of gold mixed in wall paint.
Already people are wasting a lot of gold in the form of gold foils on foods and sun screen lotions. All of it goes down the drain. Just imagine how many tons of earth needs to be replaced and how much infrastructure goes into bringing out few grams of gold and just imagine, people are flushing it down the drain.
Gold / Silver / Platinum / Diamonds are limited in our world. We should use them meaningfully.
