Australian mineral-recovery equipment developer, Gekko Systems Pty Ltd, in conjunction with Randgold Resources Ltd, is pleased to announce that a Gekko continuous InLine Leach Reactor (ILR) used at the Morila Gold Mine, Republic of Mali, West Africa, is to be converted into a batch ILR.
The modernization represents a collaborative effort between Gekko Systems and Morila. A Gekko Systems’ ILR 1000CA has been in use at Morila since May 2001 providing recovery rates, depending on feed, of 200 oz to 2,000 oz/day.
