Hollywood-based jewellery company Azature, has started selling its $250,000 nail polish, which contains 267 carats of black diamonds.
According to the company’s website, which describes itself as the “Black Diamond King”, the nail polish is available at the Los Angeles upscale clothing retailer Fed Segal.
Azature has beat out rival company Models Own in the pursuit for the most expensive nail polish in the world. Last year Models Own introduced a $130,000 polish that featured a bottle encrusted with 1,118 diamonds.
On its Facebook page, the jeweller said that a wallet-friendly version of “Black Diamond”, which has a real black diamond in each bottle, would also be available this month for about $25.
