SALT LAKE CITY, ut, APRIL 27, 2009: Framework Solutions announced today the delivery of the “Way Smart” web-based training course and simulation to inthinc, inc a Utah based company who designs, manufacturers and distributes state-of-art driver safety and mentoring products to the leaders in oil, gas mining, and product distribution fleets. The course materials include a web-delivered rich media course on operation of the waySmart device, as well as a 2-D freeplay simulation. The courses will be used by inthinc’s waySmart customers including Halliburton, Schlumberger, Weatherford British Petroleum and Conoco-Phillips.
According to Ray C. Greer, inthinc’s Vice President of Operations, the waySmart course and simulation represents an important learning improvement opportunity for customers. “We’re excited to deploy this interactive course to our customers. It represents an important step forward in training effectiveness and configurability.”
The waySmart course includes a unique configuration menu which customizes the learning path for specific customers. A separate free-play simulation of the waySmart device is also part of the training course, and provides an ideal practice environment.
