Column: BHP joins the lengthening list of nickel price casualties
Indonesia's nickel production surge is challenging the West's ambitions of diversifying its critical metals supply chains.
FLSmidth has been awarded a contract worth approximately EUR 36m (DKK 265m) by Korba West Power Corporation Limited for supply and installation of a 1,800 tonnes per hour coal handling plant for their upcoming 2×600 MW power plant, currently under construction at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Avantha Power & Infrastructure Limited.
The order comprises track hoppers, paddle feeders, stacker, reclaimers and pipe conveyors as well as a belt conveyor system, ring granulators, vibrating grizzly feeders and trippers. FLSmidth electrical and air pollution control equipment is also included in the supply.
