FLSmidth Minerals, a global group providing engineered processing equipment and services to the minerals processing industry and the most complete lines of equipment for oil sands mining and extraction, has named Mr. Paul Keyser to be Director – Oil Sands Business Development.
In his new role, Mr. Keyser will be reporting to Mr. Peter Flanagan, Vice President Americas. Mr. Keyser will assist FLSmidth product companies and technology centers, oil sands project planners, and oil sands operating companies with the application of existing products and systems as well as seeking opportunities for developing new products and services. He will also continue to be directly responsible for managing the FLSmidth Krebs’ product line within Oil Sands.
FLSmidth Minerals’ product lines for the Oil Sands industry include Fuller® rotary tumblers; ABON® low-speed sizers; Dorr-Oliver Eimco® flotation cells, sedimentation, and filtration technologies; KREBS® Cyclones and millMAX™ pumps; RAHCO® mobile material handling systems; and FLSmidth plant design and automation systems. These recognized products have served the Oil Sands industry for years and leverage FLSmidth Minerals position in offering complete solutions for its customers.
Mr. Keyser has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mining & Minerals Engineering from Virginia Tech and more than 20 years of experience in minerals processing. In 1995, he joined Dorr-Oliver Eimco as part of the acquisition of Pyramid Resources where he was a founding member and partner. In 2001, he joined FLSmidth Krebs where he held positions as Industrial Business Development Manager, Manager of Engineering, and ultimately, Regional Sales Manager covering, among other industries, Oil Sands. His mineral processing and oil sands experience combined with his knowledge of the various technologies within FLSmidth Minerals will insure expert and quality service to the group’s Oil Sands customers.
