MICROMINE Russia has held their first training course at the UMMC Technical University (UMMC TU) in Ekaterinburg. The training was focused on teaching students and faculty about open pit planning and mining operations support using MICROMINE’s Pitram and Micromine solutions.

The purpose of the Championship is to identify and support the most promising students in the fields of mining, electric power, exploration, metallurgy and oil and gas business, as well as assist them in the preparation of their practical knowledge, experience and new competencies.

MICROMINE Central Asia and the School of Mining and Geosciences at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which aims to incorporate MICROMINE’s mining solutions into the education and training for students at Nazarbayev.
