Great Panther Silver Reports Annual Net Profit of $5 Million

Great Panther Silver increased its profits by one third over last year, the TSX and NYSE-listed company reported on Wednesday. Revenues were $42.2 million in 2010, a 33% increase over the previous year. Fourth-quarter profits were $13.8 million, up 40% from the same period in 2009.

US pipe demand to reach $38 billion in 2015

US demand for pipe is forecast to advance 6.6 percent per year to $38.6 billion in 2015, according to MarketResearch.com. Gains will represent a substantial turnaround from the declines of the 2005-2010 period, in which pipe demand was hampered by an economic recession and a sharp drop in building construction spending.

Eurasian Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: EMX) announced the completion of the second tranche of its CAD $17.875 million private placement by the sale of 921,000 units for proceeds of CAD $2,993,250. Each unit, priced at CAD $3.25, consisted of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each full warrant entitles the warrant holder to purchase one additional common share of EMX until March 14, 2013 at a purchase price of CAD $4.00.
