Kaminak commences drilling at Coffee Gold Project

Kaminak Gold Corporation (TSX-V:KAM) today announced that the 2011 drill program has begun on the company's 100%-owned Coffee Gold Project, located in the White Gold District, Yukon Territory. This program marks the start of just the second year of drilling, which aims to significantly build upon the highly successful 2010 program where eight gold discoveries were drilled over a 15km by 5km area of the Coffee Gold Project.

Teck more than doubles Q1 profits

Nautilus forms strategic partnership and secures vessel

Nautilus Minerals' (TSX:NUS)(AIM:NUS) plan to open a new frontier of seafloor resource production has taken a major step forward, with the formation of a strategic partnership with German shipping company Harren & Partner ("Harren"). A joint venture company (the "Vessel JV") is to be formed to own and operate a production support vessel which will serve as the operational base for Nautilus to produce high grade copper and gold ore at its first development project, Solwara 1, in the Bismarck Sea of Papua New Guinea ("PNG").

Update on regulatory approvals for Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines arrangement with Cliffs Natural Resources

Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines announced that Cliffs Natural Resources has received approval under the Investment Canada Act for completion of the plan of arrangement pursuant to which Cliffs will acquire all the outstanding common shares of CLM. The closing of the Arrangement remains subject to certain other customary conditions, including obtaining approval of the MOFCOM filing with the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

Emgold moves forward with Idaho-Maryland project permitting

Allana Potash continues to intersect high grade potash at shallow depths with 47.81 percent KCL over one metre

Allana Potash Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AAA) ("Allana" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that drill hole DK-11-13 intersected significant potash mineralization including one metre of 47.81% KCl. Hole DK-11-13 intersected two robust potash zones which appear to correlate with the Sylvinite Zone and Kainitite Zone. The Sylvinite Zone returned 2.8 metres of sylvinite which graded 45.86 % KCl and includes a one metre interval that returned 47.81% KCl. Further down the hole, 8.7 metres of kainitite was intersected which returned 22.91% KCl.

Moly Mines Limited: China Development Bank approves US$500 million project finance facility for the Spinifex Ridge molybdenum/copper project

Moly Mines Limited (TSX:MOL)(ASX:MOL) is pleased to announce it has been advised by Hanlong Mining Investment Pty Ltd ("Hanlong"), that the China Development Bank ("CDB") has approved US$500 million in project finance facilities to develop the Spinifex Ridge Molybdenum / Copper mine. CDB have agreed to expand their commitment from the US$250 million, announced on 1st February 2011, to US$465 million and make available US$35 million in further working capital facilities to meet Hanlong's US$500 million financing commitment to Moly Mines. A formal commitment letter is expected to be issued by CDB within the next two weeks.

Teck announces Elkview operation collective agreement

Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) announced today that employees at its Elkview operation in southeast British Columbia have ratified a new five-year agreement, replacing an agreement which expired on October 31, 2010. Production at the mine will resume effective Friday, April 8 following a temporary suspension due to strike action taken by Local 9346 of the United Steelworkers of America on January 30, 2011.
