Stornoway announces 2011 exploration program and budget

Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSX:SWY) is pleased to announce the2011 exploration budget for the Company's portfolio of diamond exploration projects. Stornoway's flagship property is the 100% owned Renard Diamond Project in north-central Quebec, where a Feasibility Study and an associated Environmental and Social Impact Assessment are on track for completion in the third quarter of this year. Over the upcoming 12 month period Stornoway will also conduct a complementary program of discovery oriented exploration at several additional projects elsewhere within Canadawhere the potential exists for the discovery of new kimberlite camps close to infrastructure. Stornoway has allocated a budget of $5.6m to the 2011 exploration program, to be funded from existing cash resources.

Revolver to acquire operating iron ore assets in Brazil

Revolver Resources Inc., (TSX VENTURE:RZ) ("Revolver") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an arm's length letter of intent with Oculus Mining S.A. ("Oculus") effective April 11, 2011, relating to a reverse takeover transaction (the "Transaction"), pursuant to which Revolver proposes to acquire all of the issued and outstanding securities of Oculus from the shareholders of Oculus (the "Oculus Shareholders") on a pro rata basis. Trading in the shares of Revolver has been halted in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") and will remain halted until such time as all required documentation has been filed with and accepted by the TSXV and permission to resume trading has been obtained from the TSXV.

LIM completes Can$110 million equity financing

Labrador Iron Mines Holdings Limited (TSX:LIM) (the "Company" or "LIM") is pleased to announce that it has completed its previously announced public offering of C$100,000,000 in common shares and C$10,000,500 in flow-through shares of the Company, at a price of C$12.50 per common share and C$15.00 per flow-through share (collectively, the "Offering"). Peregrine discovers CH-51 kimberlite at Chidliak

Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. ("Peregrine" or "the Company") (TSX:PGD) is pleased to report the discovery of the CH-51 kimberlite by core drilling on the Chidliak project ("Chidliak") on Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. CH-51 is the first target drilled in 2011 and the fifty-first kimberlite discovered at Chidliak since 2008. CH-51 is located approximately 200 metres south of the CH-17 kimberlite, ten kilometres south of the CH-28 kimberlite and 40 kilometres north of the Southern Focus Area. Currently, CH-28 and six kimberlites within the Southern Focus Area have characteristics consistent with economic potential in Arctic settings.

Barrick announces agreement to acquire Equinox

Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX)(TSX:ABX) ("Barrick" or "the Company") announced today that it has entered into a support agreement with Equinox Minerals Limited (TSX:EQN)(ASX:EQN)("Equinox") for Barrick to acquire, through an all-cash offer, all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Equinox (including the shares represented by Equinox's CHESS Depositary Interests) by way of a friendly take-over offer (the "Offer"). The Offer is for C$8.15 per Equinox share in cash, or a total of approximately C$7.3 billion. The Offer represents a 30% premium based on Equinox's closing share price on the Toronto Stock Exchange on February 25, 2011 (the last trading day before Equinox announced its intention to make a take-over bid for the common shares of Lundin Mining Corporation).

Global Earth Energy Inc. announces details on Modern Coal deal with projected revenues of $525 Million

Modern Coal has acquired access to approximately 33 million tons of coal reserves in eastern Kentucky. Modern Coal will be able to reach the additional coal through mines operated on properties acquired as part of a previously announced joint venture with Global Earth Energy Inc. (GLER). Modern Coal believes the additional coal will be a superb addition to the acquired properties and will extend the productive life of the acquired properties by many years. This will also strengthen Modern Coal's ability to offer high-volume long-term contracts to a wider variety of coal purchasers.
