After the initial phase of the ECI, the intention is for Outotec to execute the process plant segment of the scope for AZL on an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis.

Outotec raises its sales guidance for 2011. Based on strong order intake in 2011 and good progress in project execution, the management expects that sales in 2011 will grow to approximately EUR 1.35-1.45 billion.

Outotec has received a repeat order from London Mining Plc for delivery of High Gradient Magnetic Separators (HGMS) to the Marampa iron ore project in Sierra Leone. London Mining, a UK-based company that is developing mines for the steel industry, purchased the first magnetic separators for the project in 2010. The combined value of the orders and services is over EUR 10 million.

Outotec has signed a contract with Chilean Codelco, the leading copper producer in the world, for the design and delivery of concentrator technology to Codelco's new Mina Ministro Hales mine in northern Chile. The contract value is approximately EUR 24 million, half of which was booked in Outotec's second quarter and the rest in the third quarter order intake.
