SGS is pleased to announce the addition of a new fire assay laboratory to our facility in Elko, Nevada, USA. This expansion is the most recent in a series of investments that SGS has made to serve the geochemical testing needs of the North American mining industry.

SGS has commenced operations of an on-site sample preparation facility at Orezone Gold Corporation’s Bomboré gold project in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

SGS has been awarded the operational contract for the on-site laboratory at the Oyu Tolgoi mine in the Southern Gobi Region of Mongolia. This 3 year operational contract was awarded to SGS at the end of 2011.
