PAMA expands investment in Immersive Technologies

After nearly 15 years of using training solutions from Immersive Technologies, Indonesian based PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) has furthered their investment with the addition of seven new haul truck simulator modules to extend the capability of their eight existing Advanced Equipment Simulators. The investment is an upgrade to their current simulator portfolio and aligns with their integrated simulation training standard operating procedures.

Simulators from Immersive Technologies preparing operators to remotely operate semi-autonomous underground LHDs

Command for Underground automates the tramming and dumping component of an underground loader’s load-haul-dump cycle. The operator has the ability to control the machine from an office or remote location away from the hazards of the underground mine. One or more machines can be controlled at once, enhancing operator safety and optimizing production between multiple machines.

Rio Tinto Marandoo improves haul truck reliability and productivity winning Immersive Technologies’ 2015 Business Improvement Award

The annual recognition for mining companies using simulation for operator training and business improvement from Immersive Technologies was awarded to Australia’s Rio Tinto Marandoo. The award recognizes the achievements of mine sites focused on improving operational safety, efficiency and productivity through strategic and focused simulator based training initiatives.
